My Strengths and Weaknesses

Life Design Wiki

Focus on your strengths and not your weaknesses when you try to improve yourself.

We must keep in mind what a real weakness is. Not being a morning person may be considered a weakness, but tardiness is not a weakness; it is just being sloppy. We can try to control our weaknesses enough to not seriously inconvenience the people around us, but in the end, we will achieve much more if we focus on what we have a natural proclivity or talent for.

When we build on our strengths (instead of focusing on overcoming all our weaknesses), we can really excel and not just keep up with others. When we try to master the areas in which we have real talent and strength, we work with something we have a head start in.

My Strength and Weaknesses and Balancing Life

Making the best use of your time and being effective in what you do are essential prerequisites to a balanced, well-designed and fulfilled life.

Modern life keeps throwing us a constant, never-ending flow of demands that – if not dealt with quickly and efficiently – tends to grow in urgency and importance until it occupies a major part of our life. Most people who feel overwhelmed and out of control do so because they lack a system to get things done effectively.

Whakate suggests a holistc approach to balancing your life: The Whakate Way. It will allow you to spend the maximum amount of time living your life, rather than organising and perfecting it.
