Mark Forster’s productivity system may be an appealing alternative for someone who
wants better time management, but doesn’t want to implement a complicated system. The Do It Tomorrow concept is built around the idea of a “closed-list,” a to-do list that is made each day and closed each night for the following day. It contains a set number of non-negotiable commitments. Seemingly urgent tasks that come up during the day are not dealt with but go on next days list, unless they really cannot wait for 24 hours. Forster’s style is easy to read and follow and beyond the closed list, the book provides many tips for increasing productivity that just about anyone can benefit from.

Readability: 4/5
Applicability: 4/5

Almost any reader will find something in Forster’s book to improve their task-management, but this book may be too light-weight for someone desiring a massive organisational shift.
