Getting Things Done By David Allen
Getting Things Done (GTD), by David Allen, is one of the most well-known productivity systems out there. While it may be helpful for trapping and sorting all the untracked information in your life, GTD can be dauntingly complex—which is why Allen’s book is recommended to anyone seriously considering this system in their daily routine. Allen is not out to dazzle or entertain: His book will tell the reader how to implement and then maintain each step of his system in a conversational, straight tone. This book may not teach you how to get more work done, but if you are drowning in disorganization, it will teach you how to properly organize incoming information, action and delegate items, and rely on a well-maintained system to track your appointments and tasks. Most people will find some useful tips, even if they do not care to implement the full system with all its trappings.

GTD’s applicability depends very much on individual needs/demands.
