Best Picks for July ‘08 (Blog Posts)
An interesting statistic from the BNET blogs: Recession woes are causing workers to waste 44% more time at work than in 2007 (Leadership IQ, May 2008). Particularly revealing is that 21% of that wasted time was spent searching for personal development resources on the internet. It’s no wonder then that many blogs giving career and financial advice saw increased activity both in traffic rankings and contributed comments (Alexa.com, July 2008).
While the personal development blogosphere was rife with career and financial advice, personal effectiveness blogs took the opportunity to reflect on their reason for being. The blogs of Alex Shalman, Zenhabits, Goodlife Zen and Craig Harper all posted interesting thoughts on the personal development movement, but few resonated as much as Precision Change’s tongue-in-cheek post on “How to start your own personal development cult: 7 proven success strategies.”
Here are our choices for the most popular and interesting posts in the blogosphere for the latter half of July:

I’d like to say thank you as well for the pick. Good to see people still have a nice, heart-felt interest in cheating where they can.
